Deepest Lake in World


 Lake Baikal in Siberia Russia reaches depths of 1642 meters. It holds roughly 20% of Earth's unfrozen freshwater somehow. Formed over 25 million years ago it's extremely old. Baikal's home to unique wildlife like Baikal seal. Pristine waters surround this biodiversity hotspot which became a UNESCO World Heritage site recently.
